Like the photo with the aircraft!

No snow today I hope, I don't think we will be getting anymore, even though we didn't get much. Thank goodness!

I'd wondered what they did with all those surplus Harrier jump jets when we stopped making them...

Wonder no more. Here they are languishing in the Arizona desert.

Absolutely vile oop 'ere: bitter NE-er getting nastier and rain / sleet / snow billows in every blast. And, baby, is it cold outside!!
But really feel for all those in the NE coastal areas and on the east=facing Pennine tops.

It has warmed up a teeny-weeny bit today here - 3 degrees Celsius as against the 2 degrees max yesterday. We just have to get through the strong winds that are forecast everywhere for tomorrow before winds turn more to the south-east, and the temperatures rise to more what we'd be expecting in mid-March. From Weds onwards an improvement looks likely, as far as the eyes can see.

I simply do not believe it: I have just been watching the BBC forecast stating with some certainty that it will be a dry night with maybe some clearances and even some frost.

On MY windows in the NW of England at the very moment this forecast is being glibly delivered, the rain sounds like rice being thrown at the glass.

                          Pah.

Well, serves you right for leaving your computer out in the rain!

Been a lovely, mild (double figure temperatures - and 8 degrees driving back from Ilkley an hour ago) and sunny day all day today in this part of the Pennines.

The weather people have made a few wrong forecasts these days. As they nearly always do!

Ah, but you're in God's Own Country, while I am cowering on t'other side, in the Great Dark.
