Tops of the Beacons sparkling brightly white this morning, and now two days running of cloudless skies, brilliant sunshine but chillingly cold! Warning of severe frosts tonight but tomorrow again set fair - all change on Wednesday when it's back to a day of heavy rain. And - it's so light! Suddenly Winter darkness has gone without us even noticing.

I suppose you could say that I was (nearly) blown away by the weather
The description of Edinburgh as 'East Windy, West Endy' is not far off the mark.
I do like the following though:
'Enchanting ... It shall make a delightful summer capital when we invade Britain.' (Josef Goebbels, 1938)

I shudder to think what's going on in Scotland if it's like this down here!Money can't buy you happiness............but it does bring you a more pleasant form of misery - Spike Milligan

not bad down here, nice enough to spend this morning starting to do some seriously heavy duty remodelling of a part of the garden.
The heavy work is now more or less done, I'm glad to say.
A few spots of rain this PM, but nothing much.
lets hope it is a nice weekend.I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

Incidentally, average temperatures here go up 1 degree Celsius tomorrow - and continue to rise by the same increment 3 times per month onward to peak in the second week of July. Spring is on the way - waheeey!
(For nighttime temperature rises we have to wait until week 2 of April).
