I've just looked out, and it's still raining, as it has been all day, but it seems heavier now. More flood warnings are in place.

Dry (the beck in the village a good five or six inches lower than it was on Saturday) with white cloud cover these past couple of days in this bit of the Pennines - and, although colder than over the Christmas/New Year period, still mild for what we're used to at this time of year.Numquam Satis!

Well the garden is like a quagmire, and it slopes to the bottom where the water collects into a natural pond.
I went to the shoe shop hoping to buy a pair of wellies, Clarks in this case, but sales assistant informs me that they only do childrens wellies! Goodness sake, I need wellies for the garden, plus adults like to splash in puddles too!

It's so cold today! <shiver> Only 1 degree when I left home this morning, although generally bright, but the sky at the moment is heavy and grey and looks full of it. Full of what I'm not sure - but at some stage between now and Friday it seems we'll get some snow here.
On a positive note, as the cold was late coming and we're halfway through January it'll be Spring before we know it! <daffodil>

I'd really rather it wasn't cold, and wasn't going to throw it down all evening, as I will be at the footy.
But I think it will.

It's been snowing!!! Where did that come from?! (Rhetorical question - I know exactly whence it came - but when? There's quite a good covering, but it's all fallen in the past couple of hours from when I last looked out of the window.)
Very pretty - glad I'm indoors, though!Numquam Satis!
