Frighteningly wild weather oop 'ere. Barney / Pennines at their evil worst.
Wind like I have rarely experienced it, genuinely strong and punchy enough to gust you clean off your feet as happened to me tonight.
And the noise! Coming east, so look out Yorkshire.
Wind's been getting up here since this afternoon, following a remarkably warm start - you could really feel the warmth from the sun to an unusual degree for this late in the year. Even down here's expected to have gales all day tomorrow, and here on S London's "mountain" the effect is magnified.
Windy indeed on the Common this morning. Dog quite wild with it all, racing around with other youngsters and making up to large groups of students doing their weekly keep-fit routines. Unfortunately she punctured one of their softballs...now she is well and truly zonked on her bed, thank heavens.
Truly scary night and morning oop 'ere. Violent winds, avalanches of rain, fields / fells / ghylls flooded, all water fast and dangerous. Roads a mess.

Sounds like you need some fluffy Advent music to listen to, then, Draco!
