saly, I'm a bit of a night owl. I should get 8 hours sleep but often do with far fewer hours than that. I no longer work 9-5, M-F and have a rather irregular schedule including weekend work. This makes for irregular sleep habits...and moments of panic when I wake up in the morning and wonder what I'm doing for the day, or even what day of the week it is. At the moment, I'm in transition from my winter schedule (lots of free time) to my spring/summer/autumn schedule with lots of commitments scattered through out the week and on weekends. Tonight, I'm gong to bed early with a book (rereading Jane Eyre in anticipation of the new film) and a cup of herb tea. Tomorrow I need to clear up a mess of papers on my desk instead of enjoying myself on-line.

Curalach, I hope your sore throat feels better soon. Have you tried honey and lemon in your tea to soothe your throat?
best wishes,
marthe

Curalach, 'something stronger which is made in Scotland' trumps honey and lemon any time! I'm sure that will do the trick!

Morning Sal! Isn't insomnia dreadful? Tonight I fell asleep at around nine, but woke up around two thanks to a combination of bad dreams and loose ends from the day-- and now we're just rounding 5:30AM. Agh! Sorry to hear you have dry mouth from the meds...my friend uses this off-the-shelf rinse:
Discover useful information about a dry mouth and learn how Biotène products including mouthwash, gel and spray can help you relieve dry mouth signs.
He says it seems to help-- have you tried it? Worth a look! At times I have the opposite problem, but the less said about that the better. Oh well, I'll write a proper email when I'm up to it...I should get back to looking at the garden thread and hold steady for the Spring.
Cheers, E.
