Rainy here but not enough to deter me from taking my bike to this evening's choir practice. Enjoyed two pints of Proper Job from St Austell Brewery afterwards, a very tasty hoppy ale, after which I returned home fairly wet but not soaked.

Raining here too and the wind looks like it's beginning to pick up but nothing much. The forecast for the evening and overnight here looks much worse but no doubt we will survive.Last edited by Petrushka; 17-11-15, 17:04."The sound is the handwriting of the conductor" - Bernard Haitink

Pretty windy last night but it had dropped completely by early morning. Picked up again just a touch later but despite areas of the West Midlands reportedly having power cuts and overhead railway lines brought down, it's been a non-event here. SA and Brummie Simon are right about the hysteria-inducing names given to these storms. It's an excuse for the media to go into panic mode, as if there wasn't enough of that to be going on with anyway right now."The sound is the handwriting of the conductor" - Bernard Haitink
