Yesterday was rather good. I fear this may not last......
Stormy Weather

Pet's "23 degrees" is remarkable - here in the Pennines, we've managed 16 at the most (on Tuesday) this past week; and with misty mornings (and "yellow warnings" from the Met office). The afternoons have cleared up, and there's been some gorgeous sunshine: the barometer has gone as far past the "Very Dry" marker as I've ever seen it over the past few days.
Drooped to "Fair" this dull morning, with all-day cloud and maximum temperatures of 12 degrees forecast - and the rains start on Monday.Numquam Satis!

If you click on this link it gives you a great picture of thunderstorm activity across central and N. America, and right across the Atlantic to Europe, N Africa and the Middle East, including here. I imagine when there are enough tracking stations worldwide we'll get to see what's happening everywhere!

S_A and other 'Stormy Weather' jockeys - hope you did better than me at the first two questions in the 'Precipitation' round in tonight's University Challenge! The third question was a doddle though"...the isle is full of noises,
