Stormy Weather

I've just been looking as the worst weather charts I've ever set eyes on for July as regards what's coming here tomorrow and on Sunday, so I think I'll make the best of today's equable temperatures and - yes!!! - light winds, and take to the bike. There probably won't be any more chances before mid-week; plenty of opportunities to test out a new brolly, however!

Blisfully quiet roads today with schools out.
But what sort of weather is THIS for Proms queuing tomorrow?

The thought occurs to me that after 3 hours in pouring rain, half an hour of listening to the BBC singers wil seem like heaven.......

I said yesterday was "chilly" - deteriorated into "parky" overnight: I gave up the struggle and made a hot water bottle at around 1:00am, AND the Central Heating came on briefly this morning, which means the temperature must have dipped below 5 degrees!
