The last few posts are a dump from my Announcement which has now been deleted
Bright sunshine here, but coldish. It isn't given us to know those rare moments when people are wide open and the lightest touch can wither or heal. A moment too late and we can never reach them any more in this world.

Both sets of forecasters predict cool changeable weather until the weekend, with temperatures possibly rising to something like warm at the end of the bank holiday.

I thought that lot was pretty cheap. It seemed a good moment to spray the moss-encrusted clothes line area with moss killer - the hand-sprayed liquid works oppositely from the dilute stuff we used last year in that the former has to be applied when rain is NOT expected. So I'm feeling pretty chuffed with myself! The gardens look lovely around here, with bluebells already out and enough cherry blossom still on display to compare proudly with Japan at this time of year!
