i cannot keep up with the alternation between yellow and blue swathes on the beeb weather and whatever i set the heating to do in consequence is wrong
wet windy and quite warm outside, i shall revert to sticking my head out to see what the weather is doingAccording to the best estimates of astronomers there are at least one hundred billion galaxies in the observable universe.

Snow here today, too. Nothing much to write home about, though the buses were off for a time, and some of my colleagues had difficulty getting to work. It must be said, though, that buses in Dundee go off at the least excuse, and should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.
This, at the junction of two fairly steep hills, was rather spectacular. Fortunately no-one was seriously injured.

I thought of Eastbourne, too (used to live there) - sounds like you're going near the bit where the KwikFit etc is - and, if you're coming from the A22, you'll go right past my old digs, ts (just before the level crossing at Hampden Park. if you want to give a wave).
A very light dusting of snow this morning in the Pennines - looks very scenic.Numquam Satis!
