No pining S_A. As to pollution levels in London, really? At this time of year? I'm glad that the distant hills are visible in the more freshly scented air! Our weather is heading downhill after two days of sunshine. Clouds and rain are forecast for the weekend.

A dreadful dull start to the day with spitty rain – not as forecast and annoying as I was intending to begin decorating first thing, but the light is so bad just now. Lots more blossom appearing including the plum trees and against the misty greyness of the sky the white flowers of a neighbour’s greengage are appearing somewhat ghostly. The London fog sounded awful but was surprised to see the Defra reading for here on Thursday was a 6 (moderate), someone told me they can remember peasoupers in Worcestershire in the early 60s which sounds nonsensical to me!
I’ve been absent from the MB (it’s ok, I’ve got a note from my Mum) for a week due to being in an internet free zone. Which is alright but makes me realise I’m the only person on the planet without a hand-held i-device!
