Not so nice here last few days. Tuesday's mist never dispersed, it was a miserable 7.8° max. Yesterday thick, thick, fog not clearing until lunchtime, then sun and although final temp said 14° it certainly felt chilly in nasty wind, today very thick fog again and just 4.4° at the moment. Hopefully it'll clear to blue and sun later. Unfortunately it means going out in the morning in Winter wear and looking foolish coming home muffled up in sunshine! Every piece of grass is awash with daisies and celandines, which look lovely, loads of primroses of course. Looking ahead we (at least here) still seem to be forecast mist/fog for the next week, I suppose because there's not enough wind to mix things up?

No fog yesterday, although it dawned cloudy it cleared to a sunny but not cloud-free day and reached 16.2° with a lovely sunset The central heating was turned off Friday - I hope permanently - and I spent all day gardening and clearing up outside, the ground is still rather soggy though. I think we may have showers next week but it still appears to be staying warm. I saw several bumble bees and surprisingly two tortoiseshell butterflies!

A very warm day at Cheltenham on Friday after early fog had lifted. Back home on Saturday it was a mix of sunshine and cloud with a cold wind blowing. Today, it is very sunny but the wind has picked up quite considerably making it feel much colder.
