Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Bon appétit to all here, may your sprouts be sweet and crunchy. I had a present of my fave - chocolate covered ginger and also I have a box of M&S marizipan collection (totally adore marzipan and ginger, if someone put the two of them together ......... <swoon>
A survey said the first drink of Christmas day occurs at 11am - well here, at this late hour, I've just had my first glass of bubbles and they've gone straight up my nose resulting in a fit of the sneezums!! I am now off to turn my pigs in blankets and contemplate the mysteries of gravy. Happy eating, one and all.

Say no more.
Not long back, and I'll save Dr Who for tomorrow evening, I think.
I hope all here had a great day and that Santa was good to you all.

Oh Goodness, what a perfect day! I was stuffed tight as a tick, the cheese board went out of the window. I cried at Dr Who - did you? Well, it was nonsense of course. And, I also cried yesterday, first time I'd seen The Lion, The Witch (but I did read when young) Gosh, CS Lewis is so deep.
So, Christmas is totally lovely I think. Also got some uber-smart pjs, and a stick blender ('twill be carrot soup tomorrow!)
