Well, can't argue with occupational therapists I suppose .... and best we do not talk about her behind her back otherwise we'll get short shrift when she's up and running!!
Keeping ontopic: Beautiful blood red sunset now.

Goodge Street Station The Nadir. Surely those lifts took you to somewhere unknown filled with weasle faced homicidal maniacs?
Oh, sorry, are we playing Mornington Crescent? In which case, Theydon Bois!!

                DONOVAN From the album fairytale

On the firefly platform on sunny goodge street
Violent hash-smoker shook a chocolate machine
                Bobbed in an eating scene
Smashing into neon streets in their stillness
Smearing their eyes on the crazy kali goddess
Listenin' to sounds of mingus mellow fantastic
                "My, my", they sigh
                "My, my", they sigh
In dull house rooms with coloured lights swingin'
                Strange music boxes sadly tinklin'
Drink in the sun shining all around you
                "My, my", they sigh
"My, my", they sigh, mm mm
                "My, my", they sigh
                "My, my", they sigh
The magician, he sparkles in satin and velvet
You gaze at his splendour with eyes you've not used yet
I tell you his name is love, love, love
                "My, my", they sigh
                "My, my", they sigh
                "My, my" - sigh

Yes, but, and, Although Goodge Street station is extremely busy at peak times, the flow is very one-sided. Few people enter the station when the majority are exiting and vice versa, and four lifts, full when travelling in one direction, often return with few people in them (wiki)
That's why it is spooky, (never mind Donovan), it's obviously a time transporter for Aliens!

Theydon was simply marvellous in Two Gentlemen of Verona. He was as usual playing with another of Sandy's old flames, Holbeck Ghyll...

Here are Rob Brydon and Steve Coogan conjuring up his presence after dinner in that very place.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_RXgXzvJiY

                    I love that clip.

                      Very funny Cali.
However, Duncan, window fitter, had to leave early this afternoon as he was booked in for a vastectomy at 4pm. I said, well done to him, and we had a hug, I do hope he's not feeling too sore.
Edit: Ouch, men, not crossing/or crossng legs ,,,,,,,,,

A vastectomy? That's when it's extra large, presumably.

Sorry, I'll get my trusty Berghaus. It's certainly cold enough for it.

Ahem. Moving swiftly on from breast feeding, contraception, tube stations, ageing thesps and my aweful spelings ..

It suddenly struck me that if this snow happens then the Daily Depress and the Daily Maul that we all so roundly condemned for scaremongering ....... have been proved right!!
Bit dismal today, below freezing overnight, not a lot of sun, peaked at 10°. getting chill now, hard frost promised. But, I have bought a rather nice gilet and some thermal socks in anticipation of beating the cold! I wonder if I should get a snow shovel? I do remember, 2010, we had snow from around 26th/27th November (I recall it because I cut short a trip to Sussex before I was stuck in the snow there)

The snow struck on 30th Nov here that year. My car was snowed in, and, shovel-less, I had to get a bus to work. Shovels were in very short supply in this area at that time*, but Miss m was able to find a very elegant blue shovel, and gave it to me for a Christmas present.

*Because of the snow, not because of any action on Mr Salmond's part.

OT: A fine sunny day today, but cold.

I am sure, in years to come, we shall blame Mr. Salmond for any number of disasters ......
