All the way to New Cross last night; all the way back... This afternoon, out in the garden... It's as if someone has blasted pepper from a crop-spraying plane all over London.

The predicted storms tomorrow should put an end to all this ruddy sneezing!

Grateful thanks, Caliban. You're a star. I've been away for a number of weeks and didn't know about the creation of this space. Thank you!

Both yesterday and today were much better than forecast. Still muggy (am I the only one who likes it muggy?) but some rain this evening. Forecast is cooler, windier and wetter

i like it muggy but not too hot! the double nineties in Hong Kong [temp & humidity] were a touch stifling to say the least .... but a good ol' brit muggy summer's day is hard to beat

less severe than forecast in the middle kingdom but the weather is for ers
