Plus, of course, restaurants can charge more for such a magnificent and flavoursome fish with a Welsh pedigree.
Poisson AOC, mise en packing en Aberystwyth, presumably, then. "Foisting" (Llanfoisting?!). I am not any kind of Herefodistanian! I just happen for the time being to be here! The restaurant didn't charge more for it than it would otherwise have done, as it was part of a set menu. As I wrote, my surprise was to be told about it by a Frenchman in Welsh! "Gallia est omnis divisa in partes tres" an' all that, with no obvious concern in this instance to establish a recognisable distinction between French Gaul and Welsh Wales! OK! The fish was wonderful, anyway, which is surely all that matters, though what the lawyers would have made of what sounded like "suin(g)" I cannot imagine...

At the moment, its rather good outside. My body clock on a Saturday, never lets me have too much of a lay-in. I had almost two hours!!

I woke up suddenly at 6!

Going to grab a couple more hours though, before seeing who wins the 9:30 'Symphonic Stakes' from Hamburg

Weather for the trip to Sussex tomorrow looking terrific! Cloudless all day, if the BBC weatherfolk are to be believed....

Talking of BBC folk, who is the woman 'Loppa' who reads the news at the weekend on R3? Is she not the worst newsreader ever? She sounds bored or half asleep or worse...

Possibly; I didn't look. I just overheard a lot of lawyerly conversation. Clearly I was enjoying the French cooked Welsh sewin too much to notice the twitching or otherwise of their wallets...

Very sunny day here too but there is a strong wind (yet again) that completely ruins it.

It's lovely here. Went down to the Bargate in response to a political summons - happy to see all peaceful. Then I bought some nice little veggie quiches for the family.

East or West Sussex, and would that include another gourmet luncheon I wonder? If so, please post the usual report and menu to make us all jealous.
Not so nice today, started well, bright blue and sunny but then the wind increased and it's quite cloudy now and only just over 15° (compared to 22° yesterday)
