Stormy Weatherites might be interested in Brummie Simon's long-range forecast for the summer, which is here:
It's rather technical, but Simon does explain in everyday terms as he goes along.
Simon seems cautiously to be predicting pretty dry conditions up until August, average amounts of sun and near-normal temperatures, for most of the UK.

Hope weather isn't too bad wherever you are today! Not too bad here. I think a few showers wil be having but alas, alas not all that warm!!
I'm expecting to find a lot of twigs, small branches and fresh leaves on the ground, following this afternoon and evening's anticipated gales.

Cheers!"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."
