Day off today, so the weather in my area was bound to be dubious at best. And so it proved.

After a dry sunny week, there have been showers today, including a brief shower of hail in St Andrews at lunchtime. Temperature currently 6°; it's been 14° the last few days.

It's ruined what should have been a decent few days this week.
Same here, yesterday was dull, cloudy, strong winds keeping what would have been a respectable temperature down, it was impossible to go out without a coat. It rained quite heavily during the evening. Today started clear and blue but the wind was bitter this morning and around midday a violent hailstorm. Met Office promises more of the same for here, cool, NNE wind for tomorrow, max of 10°, around 7° with wind, even colder on Sunday. As Petrushka says, what should have been a decent few days hasn't been, with the exception of Tuesday.

Overcast and chilly here as well. The sun peeps through from time to time but it's not warm at all. The good weather that people seem to have had this past week never really materialised up here.. The strong wind ruined what there was. Forecasts of a heatwave at the end of April were well wide of the mark as it could still be January up here!

... hmmm. Doesn't touch this corner of humanity...

Actually, am not sure that any game needed to be invented.

Just one half-hearted cumulonimbus seen some way west of here so far on what was predicted to be a day of continual heavy showers for this area. Could be wrong, but so far not much build-up: you normally need a lot of cumulonimbus clouds in a cold unstable airstream of this kind to get a small number of really heavy, thundery-type downpours.

Maximum of 10 C just recorded - 4 C below the average max for late April here.

The little girl from upstairs has just shouted "It's snowing!" - in fact it's blossom blowing from nearby trees!
