It's been a lovely sunny day in Dundee, and quite mild, about 13°. However, we are experiencing very strong winds, and the Tay Road Bridge has been closed all day. I see it's now opened to cars only from about 5.30 pm, a bit late for some of my colleagues who will have had to make a 40 mile detour via Perth.

I'm everso glad you are enjoying this lovely weather, really I am, why, the moment I stepped outside into the grey drizzle yesterday I clasped to my bosom the warm thought that all my friends were wandering in shirt sleeves and drying their washing. Indeed, as I listened to the rain beating down at 2am this morning I again thought of the sun you might gain as I stepped outside, waterproof hood raised against the vile wind .... but you know, it was the thought of you all, soaking up the sunshine, that buoyed my spirits all day ....... Oh well, my day will come - eventually.

Never mind Anna. From indoors it seems lovely weather here......but step outside and that biting wind is still there. We've never really lost it in this area.

Do you live in/near Haverford West, Anna? (I only ask because every time I've been there, it's bucketed down! Admitedly, that's only three times - it would have been more [it's a lovely town] but we've been put off by the fact that it's always bucketed down whenver we've visited!)Numquam Satis!

<doh>! I suppose the "South-East Wales" in your "Location" should've given me a clue!
Heavy rain this morning in the Pennines - cleared up by 10:00-ish. Glowering dark clouds, but gently warm and refreshing air.Numquam Satis!

About 25oC here in Rennes, whacking great bright hot yellow thing in the sky, plus refreshing breeze.... Perfect!

Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."
