Another bitterly cold day here with that biting wind still much in evidence and snow flurries this morning. Surprising how stubborn the snow from last weekend is to disperse. Still piles of it where it drifted and where the sun doesn't reach it remains quite deep.

My geranium in a pot, given to me at Christmas, has just started flowering this week, my grass cutter has been for the first time this year and Icecream van is about - it is dark and sleet/snow is falling but signs of Spring are there. [fingers crossed]

and it's on to JEG's Bach (Can I also fit in Casualty on tonight's busy schedule?)

Can't Casualty be likened to a Cadburys Cream Egg....

Happy Easter to all here -4 last night, thick frost, bright and sunny start, temp now 6.4, but feeling very cold still, if only the wind would change direction ...... it would be lovely.
I watched The Pope, then finally caught up with last week's Country File, Llanthony Priory is one of my favourite places, there's a very tiny bar in what used to be the Priory's cellar and a hotel (which only has 4 bedrooms, furnished in 12th century style, no plumbing!*) - not built-on but also part of the Priory. It's lovely in the summer to get a ploughmans and a pint there before attempting the very steep climb up to Hatterall Hill where you can see the beautiful Ewyas Valley, it feels a bit like being on top of the world. Bit foolish of them to film there and attempt to stargaze at that time of the year though!
Oh well, lamb studded with garlic and rosemary is in the oven, bit later than I planned, (blame it on the clocks changing) but smelling very nice, new drama starting on BBC called The Village, might give that a go tonight, it's supposed to be quite gritty.

*there is plumbing, but no en-suites is what I meant!
