And so, S_A, a neighbour of mine has a question for you....

    ....

    ....

    ....

"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
    Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Will Adam Jones and George North be providing the security escort as you get it home?
I'd rather it was the Lovely Leigh - face of an angel, mind of an assassin!
I am hanging about waiting for Cali's neighbour's query ..... he's always a bit slow off the mark!

But I live nearer to him than you do! He is rather lovely, isn't he?
I had to delete my reply to Caliban, he seems to always bring out the worst (ribald) in me. I think I may log-off! now!

Around the 29th it seems, tell him. In response to Anna's prompt, I have now posted a little message on SHB's Spring Equinox thread.

Prefects are above ribaldry, rumour and innuendo.
They are clean boys, with their school ties and cheeky grins and knees and elbows grazed only by rugby balls

I would, excuse me, interject, a certain fish supper in Anstruther resides in the memory of things yet to come?

Agreed, cannot stand that vinegary mint stuff, I usually have cranberry or redcurrant with lamb, plus loads of rosemary and garlic of course. It will probably be lamb here at Easter - how can one not have the Lamb of God?
Indeed, how could one not? Scotch lamb is quite good, too......

It must be said that Lamb of God - Welsh or Scotch - is far better than the Piece of Cod Which Passed All Understanding, and which was a regular feature at school lunches on Fridays.

I should be more than delighted! (With reference to my recent post, the Scottish fish of choice for fish suppers is haddock.)

Edit: I must make it clear, I was never a prefect, though I often had skinned knees.

Oh, never a Prefect yet skinned knees? I was Form Consul (our school was run on more Classical lines it seems) Well, a kilted prefect would make up for the lack of education and knowledge of fish, I suppose .....
Haddock and chips sounds great! And I am now off for the night
