Well, I don't know about elsewhere, but the official forecasters have messed up badly down here. Predicted this afternoon at lunchtime were heavy prolonged showers - none have materialised. All they needed to do was go up on the roof of the Met Office and observe the cloud cap (temperature inversion) forming at the time, instead of fiddling about on computers.
Still, one has to admit that they usually are right when bad weather's on the cards.

Yes, a lovely afternoon and evening... Do you think tomorrow might go the same way? Last time I heard, it was going to be even more showery tomorrow. I'm due to be going to various places on the bike and could well do without showers or worse!!"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Now I just have to get home without a soaking.... (Not that I mind - if drenched, everything in the machine... and the hot shower is doubly pleasant)
So in a nutshell: can't complain"...the isle is full of noises,

Some slight satisfaction to feel the first drop as I exited the sandwich shop with my lunch, and to be sitting at my desk just now munching and Forumming to see a sudden deluge outside...
