Woo-hoo you know how to live, BBM

Now the crucial question: brown sauce, ketchup or as it comes ?

Back on topic - still grey, still wet but it seems slightly brighter and the wind has dropped

New to me, BBM - I'll check it out on your recommendation sometime

Back on topic, while the rain holds off this is wonderful drying weather - my washing's blowing about like billy-o and should be dry within the hour!

          Or a nice lie-in

I completely missed the rain. It was sunny when I emerged from Sibelius 5 this morning
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
          Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Earlier this morning the Met Office Website was telling me that I'd have white cloud with sunny intervals, which was amusing as I looked out of the window onto the heavy rain.

But; it's now cleared up and there's white cloud with patches of sunlight!

Oh, me of little faith! (Nice girl she is, too.)

Wish I had some home-made marmalade to go with tea and toast. Earlier I read an ancient thread on marmalade making, which appeared on the quicklinks thread.
Quite a trip down memory lane, some interesting past posts and nice to see some of the old names again.
On topic, sun came out for about ten seconds, oh it's gone again.

Perfect 10 out of 10 weather today. Clear, crisp, light breeze, blue sky, no clouds. I hope it lasts but not too long or the garden will dry out. I haven't looked at the long-range forecast so don't know what's up the pike for us. I hope this beautiful weather wends its way across the Atlantic.

                  I hope so too, marthe!

I see thunderstorms are predicted for your part of the world tonight, and tomorrow.

Well, I prefer Asda's !!! Or, if we are talking brown, then it has to be HP Sauce. But, obviously, no sauce when it comes to eggs. Oh, and lashing of real butter on the toast!!

Odd day here, started off drizzly in bits, then my neighbours fired up the barbie at 10am and cooked masses of sausages and unidentifiable things (they are really strange) then hordes descended and they had alfresco breakfast in the drizzle ........ Takes all sorts. I'm just miffed as I wasn't invited. Now, it's beautifully sunny with blue skies - and neighbours and guests have disappeared indoors!!

"Waiter, waiter! Do you have frogs' legs?"

                        "Yes sir".

"Good. Hop over the bar, would you, and get me another scotch?"

S-A you may be interested in tonight's Country File, 6pm to 7pm on BBC1. We saw quite a lot of one of the Met Office's Weather forecasting stations with people compiling the charts etc.

Frogs' legs, yuk, I had a birthday meal spoilt some years ago as I sat next to someone messily dissecting them and offering me bits. Disgusting

Oh, I missed that, saly! I was so much enjoying the argument between A Hinton and Mr GG on the Simon Bolivar thread I lost track of the time!

S_A, the clouds are here already and rain is, indeed, predicted for tomorrow. I've brought the cushions in from the lawn chairs just in case. The rain will water in my newly planted bit of flower show eye candy, a lemon-yellow mini-hosta called Hosta 'Lemontini.' I'm not a hosta collector but couldn't resist this sweet little plant.
