Two trees down in the vicinity, but other than that, and numerous branches lying around, less damage than I would have expected, thank goodness.

my son is in Miami for a week's break before resuming work and complains that it is colder in that part of Florida than the UK! [and it is too!]According to the best estimates of astronomers there are at least one hundred billion galaxies in the observable universe.

Goodness!! /what a day!! Yes, down south near Brighton, we have had a dekuge of rain,; there was once of such intensity you coulkdnt see in front of you!!(Well if you were driving). It seems toi hav quitened down now. Has Odin been in a bad mood today? :)Don’t cry for me

Sounds as if you've had quite a blast over there. It was a bit brisk last night as the wind picked up and the mercury dropped down to about 9 F (-?c). Clear, cold, and calm this morning. The snowdrops (poor, brave little flowers) are still out...no sign of snow though.
