Well, here in North Liverpool it was all green at 1100, all white by 1300, and now rather wet, cold and messy...
Birds were panicking before their afternoon feed, we had to do a deal of wall- and lawn- scraping; and then they poured in, the Pigeons narrowly missed by our usual Sparrowhawk. The Squirrels had to share the kitchen yard wall with the Blackbirds. But by dusk the garden was left to the Magpies, Crows and Pheasants once again. Like a scene from "What to Look for in Winter".
