Saly, it's not just your eyes, it's been one of those dank, drear, dull days when the mist and cloud hasn't once cleared the top of the trees and it's been cold and, thoroughly miserable!

Sunny and warmish here today. Clocks went back on Sun AM so afternoons are shorter now. Dark before 5 but sunrise earlier in the morning! I hope all is well with your eyes saly. We're supposed to be having one of those dark, gloomy days on Thursday.

overcast grey and drab in the middle kingdom, lights on now to see anything ... it is really dark ....and wet ... mustn't grumble eh ..both Leicester Hospitals are in the top ten for grumbles ... about staff rudeness ... their competence worries me a even more .....According to the best estimates of astronomers there are at least one hundred billion galaxies in the observable universe.

Alas, our big fat moon has been obscured by rain and fog tonight. We've enjoyed the almost full moon for the past several evenings but tonight's a real washout. Saly: the grownups always told us that the moon was made of cream cheese! Moonlit tennis...now that's an idea!
