Yes marthe the guttering is there so far and the weather looks better if a touch cool for August.
I have a front hedge and every morning the dear sweet foxes leave a lot of pieces they get from rubbish bins and deposit with me because the garden is fairly sheltered. Shall now attempt to pick it all up, cursing quietly to myself.

Glad to hear that your guttering is intact saly. Foxes! Haven't seen a fox aound here in ages, though we do have pesky raccoons and skunks. Anton, our sunny day has done exactly the same. We have clouds and a promise of rain tomorrow. I only hope that the weather is bright and sunny on Sunday for my sister's wedding near Boston, MA.

Quite sultry as I made my way to Sainsburys just now for the weekly food stash. Looks like staying dry today, judging by cloud formations. Off shortly to my probably only Prom this year, the Chamber Prom at Casdogan Hall; so better put on my best behaviour! Taking a cycle cape - just in case, or, rather, rucksack!

Beware Tuesday's weather, forecast is dire.
