Yes, I move between three areas, Yalikavak, Bodrum and Turgutreis. All very agreeable.

Currently enjoying breakfast at a friend's farm on route to Izmir. Amazing organic grub. But as a city boy I don't like the smell of cow poo and I find some of the other animals scary!!!
Same here, should be a law against having cows in the countryside.

              Just as well!

It took me four hours to repair a front wheel puncture on my bike this morning. Four hours for what used to be a 10-minute job!!!
First of all I hit an object someone had dumped on the road surface.
Then I had to walk home, a 20-minute walk, missing tests I'd been cycling to Kings to have had today.
It took half an hour to remove the outer tyre from the rim, and 15 minutes of superhuman strength to replace it, tyres nowadays being such tight fits.
Then the "new" (ie old-styled) repair patches turned out to be useless.
Then the first of two new inner tubes had a puncture even before taken out of its plastic wrapping
Finally I managed to fit the second new inner tube, by which time it was too late for the hospital visit.
My hands are now red raw!

Does anyone else ever get those days when everything you touch turns to dross?

It'll be all right if just limited to Wiltshire.

TBF , Salisbury Plain is pretty much in the grip of the ice age already, for 6 months of the year. Brrrrrrrr......

As a weather Guru, S-A, I'm sure you already know this, but the coldest place in the known universe is the main stand at Grantham town football ground. A curious phenomenon brings the air straight from deepest siberia, cooling it all the while........
