Yet another very fine day up here with pretty much wall to wall sunshine and surprisingly warm in it too, guessing at around 20 degrees, with zero wind.

The forecast is for much cooler weather starting from tomorrow

Went out dressed up for a chilly walk, and came back drowning in sweat!!
BUT milky sun, distinct edge tonight.

Had a wonderful time up in London. Seeing my son being Called to the Bar, at the Inner Temple. Very nice church(I expect Cali will know this building very well). Unfiortunately, getting pupiledges these days is a very hard fought battle for the candidates to get, with the Goverment's restructuring of the judiciary and legal aid.

Weather was good to us, as well!

Yet another hurricane to batter the Philippines:

Typhoon Koppu has made landfall in the Philippines, with rain and winds of more than 250 km/h (155 mph).

              Hope Pabmusic stays safe.

                      I'm very envious.
Izmir is buzzing,or certainly used to be,not been for a few years.
I've been to Yalikavak, lovely place that is.
Wonderful country Turkey as I'm sure you agree.

Yes, I move between three areas, Yalikavak, Bodrum and Turgutreis. All very agreeable.

Currently enjoying breakfast at a friend's farm on route to Izmir. Amazing organic grub. But as a city boy I don't like the smell of cow poo and I find some of the other animals scary!!!

You head down the M20, cross the Channel and then carry on south-eastwards about 2000 miles!
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                              Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Most people go in the opposite direction these days!

Surprisingly mild day here, today: 14.5 degrees C. So I took a woodland walk I particularly love doing, but which is often too muddy by this time of the year and impassable. Make the most of it while it lasts!
