Trust a lawyer to examine the fine print if he thinks he can get one over and score points!! I meant I doubted ...... which I will now correct!
Well if 'examine the fine print' means 'check if all the words are there' then you can always count on me, Annakins!
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Yes, I know I can count on you - but I cannot afford to retain you <searches rapidly for a Dickens' quote about lawyers and their fees>
Anyway, to all on Stormy Weather - may your Christmas be Merry and Bright!
Edit: S_A's not been about since he said his geeky friend was coming over with a new puter - hope he's OK.

There's this, and I'm sure all m'learned friends will know the source:-
"Mr. Kenge," said Allan, appearing enlightened all in a moment. "Excuse me, our time presses. Do I understand that the whole estate is found to have been absorbed in costs?"
"Hem! I believe so," returned Mr. Kenge. "Mr. Vholes, what do you say?"
"I believe so," said Mr. Vholes.
"And that thus the suit lapses and melts away?"
"Probably," returned Mr. Kenge. "Mr. Vholes?"
"Probably," said Mr. Vholes.
OT, a lovely sunny day here today, so good in fact that I gave the car an early Christmas present of a trip to the car wash.
Best wishes to all on this thread, and indeed on the Forum, for a very merry Christmas.
Not a lovely sunny day here in Newport, RI. It's just the opposite in fact...rainy, windy but not cold. Been away from the FoR3 forum for a while but am popping back to wish every one a Happy Christmas from marthe and the Handsome Husband.

Strangely enough in reality if the costs outweigh the sums in issue that is normally due to intransigent clients rather than rapacious lawyers .
Golden cloudless sky and warm....
....best wishes Marthe
That's made my Christmas, to see 8thObs here again!! Hope you and the hounds enjoy the festivities.
It's like a Summer's day here as well, wall to wall sunshine after a frosty start.
Lovely to see marthe as well, your goose with apple and chestnut stuffing sounds wonderful. As for me, not only have I not put the sprouts on I haven't even wrapped the pigs in their cosy blankets yet!
xxxxxxxAnna....enough light to see to paint (been estimating colours for 3 weeks)....hounds walked....99% of pop missing best of day....
That's painting canvases not walls I assume? Hope it goes well. Agree with you, early morns are the best part, I'm always up with the lark - although I confess I overslept today having been out stargazing and not getting under the duvet until 3am. It was perishing cold but a beautiful sky .....
Edit: Just seen your link, thanks a lot, I'll enjoy that.
If only we had the clear pure haze free skies we have now I might have seen Sky-Lab lastnight....
Santa came early this year (Ooh, he's very bold!) and I've got a pair of binoculars! So I'm finding my way around the constellations, it's everso wonderful being so close up to another world.
Oh, and there's a snow warning from the Met Office - Frosty the Snowman may appear tomorrow from Liverpool down to Brighton!!
