The sun is out now with just a dusting of snow on the ground. Colder temps are on the way with nightime reaching down into the teens F. So far so good. No need to get out the snow shovel for this one.Comment

Another foggy morning in NW2. Yesterday the fog had burned off by midday when I emerged blinking from a routine visit at the glaucoma clinic (fine thanks, thank you for asking
) but there doesn't seem to be much prospect of a repeat today. Still chilly though the forecasters say it's mild.
Later: just an hour later, here comes the sun, there goes the fog/mist. How wrong can I be?
