Amazing sunset here half an hour ago - positively psychedelic!!! Hope saly managed to see it, wherever she be.

Had a really pleasant 4 mile walk in the four parks in the 'hood, this afternoon. 10.5 C - more of an autumn day than December.

Fells invisible, fog thickening, dreech, rain and yuck.
        Sunset? Explain?

There was a very fine sunset up here as well at around 16.30 yesterday afternoon. Today has been very mild with some sunshine and light winds. I see that the Daily Depress are trying to put a damper on the festive season by forecasting winter storms (again). What truth, S-A?

It's some way away still, but I don't see that at all, Pet.

Oh we were not thinking at all yesterday! Serves us right as well, I suppose!! :( There's something wrong with the coolant system for the engine, in our car, methinks. It shouldn't run out like that all? Should be changed with the oil? Well, in the village car park, just opposite where MrsBBM works, we poured in the coolant liquid, and then drove off, thinking we had, which we hadn't!! :( By mistake we poured the liquid into the steering fluid container!! So now car is a sick car, in garage and waitring for it to be seened too!! Bugler and double bugler! How careless can we be! We should hae phoned for the breakdown service!!

Quite honestly, I've given up with all this weather nonsense. Ten days ago they tried to tell us that we would be knee-deep in snow this week, which rather worried me as I have appointments in Inverness tomorrow and Thursday. But guess what? It is so warm at the moment, that I was out walking the dog in my shirtsleeves earlier this morning.

I've never been a great believer in what I hear from and read in the media, but I'm becoming uber-sceptical.

Yes, quite agree there, re weather forecasting, alycidon. I might just go and blow the cobwebs soon myself. Looks great out there today! :)
