I have quite a mental picture, of what Mrs Bbm found when she opened the front door to let you in when you arrived home... (or did you "tiptoe" in at 2am, stepping in Shearer's food bowl and breaking a couple of flower pots? )
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Well nothing quite like that Cali! :) I only had two pints(as I was driving), and had to go and pick MrsBBM up from work! I only have five pints at most, these days, Cali. Finishing off, with a whisky or two! Straight ofcourse!
Ams, Shearer has settled in very well, and has been without medication for eight weeks now!! :)Don’t cry for me

When I went into town today the Sally Army were playing by the Christmas tree - all very festive and putting people in a happy mood, and I've just received my second Christmas card. So I'd better write mine tomorrow! (How BBM can drink 5 pints of beer is beyond me, a pint and a half is my max I think)
Sorry, rambling again. Ontopic: Quite dull, dry, warm at 10.2° but rapidly dropping now.

This the problem, not the number of people. UN figures suggest that world population well in excess of the current level are sustainable.
What isn't sustainable is the ownership of most of the land by the few, and western consumption patterns.
(the US has 5% of the world's population and uses 20/25% of resources).
Slightly gloomy but mild day here today.I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.
