How was Anglesey and the caravan with all mod cons. Did the dogs enjoy it? Did you have any adventures? Any pictures? (still awaiting the one of you as a bleached blonde beach bum!)

Thirty minutes+ of tipping it down here in grey grim Willesden - jolly glad I hadn't made any plans involving the outdoors on the basis of last evening's sunny forecast

Haven't forgotten bbbb....much better, but still too exhausting overall....I seem to find it hard to be away from my studio (my mind seems to rely on it during down times)....adventures in the head which if i get around to editing will put on beaches thread....just 8O stream of consciousness stuff with a bit of nature thrown in.... [if you can call what I have a consciousness]....

I used to be able tokeep 3 'favourite' areas on my BBC Weather Page. Recently, it says addother areas but can't get'Add tofavourites' to dojust that.

Iput in my areas but they don't 'stick' as there's nothing to click on.

            Any ideas please?

We had a clap of thunder, lightening and hailstones and ignorant charity cyclists blocking up our roads again!

I am not so sure as to what charity they were cycling for, but there was a bit of thunder and lightening this afternoon. Odin up to his tricks again? :)

I had visions of charity cyclists the size of golf-balls tumbling out of the sky....
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                      Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Ha! Round here, whole roads closed completely all day, for an "Iron Man" competition. (There are Iron Women too).

Nah - everybody apart from me says "thorring" for "thawing" these days... which would actually be correct, in this case, however!

Steady light rain, 13 C, almost calm here at the mo, and not looking like changing for most of today.

I've noticed this - and "drawrring", too (not to mention Laura Norder). Is this new, or have I only just noticed it in my grumpy middle age?

Steady rain overnight in the Pennines; coolly pleasant this morning - I was able to walk up to the "village" shops in short shirtsleeves; something that I don't think I'll be able to do for much longer (the short sleeves, not the walking) if the temperature dip continues. (This was quite dramatic last week: 21 degrees on Thursday; 11 on Friday.)
