I would rather meet Kevin WHately any day. It must have been easy to wander on to a Morse or Lewis set. They did seem to rather take over Oxford at times.

First Paul Lewis, now Kevin Whately

Is there a pattern emerging here, salymap?

Good to hear that Spring has arrived in Kent

Morning Am51, Well Spring is not far off but Kevin Whateley seems more personable than your Co-op shelf stackers. But what do I know? Off to catch up with chores, have a good day [one for cliche thread].

Oh come on, fess up, french frank - how did your kedgeree with pickled eggs go?

Or are you having it tomorrow? Fish on a Friday & all that, the good people of Bristol are sticklers for tradition

We have snowdrops ! And one hyacinth way off cue ! No mater where I have resided that has seasons ... ... I love the tousle and tug of war between Old Man Winter and the hearkening of HRM Spring. It makes me feel vibrant and a part of this majestic earth. That is, if I stay away from the news.

                    Stillhomewardbound,

Marijan Mozetish titled a composition of his, "Dance Towards Heaven".

"Songline to Heaven and a Dance to Earth"

and many more of his titles are of our temporal nature of life on Earth, but what has always captivated me is his music "Postcards from the Sky, Unfolding Sky, Weeping Clouds, Messenger".

                    As above, so below,

                    with my deepest sympathy,

It's raining cats, dogs and [yes Mahlerei], possibly rabbits at the moment and shows no signs of stopping.

Have a good day, it can only get better.

Yes raining here too - at least we haven't had, yet, the snow last night's weatherman promised us - 10cm I think it was! But then he did talk of getting milder next weekend! Are the daffodils "out" in Kent?

ugh! the middle kingdom has rain today, rain tomorrow and rain the day after .... if you believe the bbc weather ...as it is chucking it down outside now i do ...drear February, still too dark, chill and wet ... we can often get the worst weather of winter in March and April hereabouts .... but the first half hour of cd review was pure sunshine and delight ....

The lovely Liam Dutton did mention snow again this morning but I didn't catch where

Have you 'checked out' Liam, salymap? He makes me smile even when he's telling me the worst

Official website for weatherman Liam Dutton - a broadcaster with more than 15 years experience, a Met Office qualified meteorologist, author and musician.

Every year I promise myself that next year I'll go away in murky, miserable, dreich February but as I haven't had any personal 'quantitative easing' (Messrs Osborne & King please take note) that's just a nice idea

I'm dry, there's food in the fridge and I have the company of the radio, my books and CDs, and this message board. Quelle richesse

Yes indeedy, it's not very pleasant out there today. Hoping for some dry spells and a bit of sunshine soon so the buns can have a run around the garden.
