      Brummie Simon hits back

In a written posting on his website, Simon challenges the many postings he must have received questioning his climate change skepticism:

I don't know what to think... Saturday had been predicted to be quite a reasonable day; now it looks likely to be a washout. Meanwhile it has become very sticky here, so they got that right.

I think I undertood a tenth of BrummieSimon's post but two thoughts struck me as I was reading it. Most people I talk to think a) the weather is strange and has been for quite a while; and b) the weather forecasters have lost the plot

Oh and another one - was BrummieSimon just a tad miffed not to be invited along to the Met people's confab today?

            Cheers S_A - I've just had a coffee, that's probably why

How am I doing for getting a line of washing dry this afternoon in NW2?

I'd guess not too well I'm afraid Ams: it may be touching 22 C right now, but there's not much air movement, and humidity's high... Maybe if the sun manages to break through.

Per a friend's iPhone: not ideal

                Summertime....
"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

And we're coming up to Wimbledon AND the Ashes Tests so we might just as well start hibernating now
