Did anyone see the full moon last night? It was a beautiful pale gold - why is this?
Today has been 17.2° but a bit breezy this afternoon with a SSW gusting at 14mph. I ploughed on with the gardening, I've got bramble-scratched arms, leaves in my hair, feel distinctly grubby and tired but a job well done. I'm hoping S_A's forecast that the rain won't get here until the afternoon leaves me the morning to finish off. I hope everyone else has also had an enjoyable day in the sun.

I saw it through the kitchen window, Anna - it seemed quite large too and as you say pale gold.

I expect all those businesses hoarding loadsa dosh they don't know what to invest in 'cos of the recession have rocketed some of it off to the moon and secreted there, polluting the lunar atmosphere.

I'm getting worried by my persistant headache when going outside. Think it's neuralgia, which I've always suffered from butit means I'm not sitting out until that wind dies down.

Will it every go from this part of the world S_A ?

In my case I'm pretty sure it's displaced toothache, which I'm putting up with by avoiding sweet things for the time being, or until my next 6 monthly comes along in August. Have you considered toothache as your possible problem sal?

Anna we had great views of it as we drove over the Preselis on the way home from a concert at Rhosygilwen - looked white enough, so definitely down to, erm, local conditions where you are

MrsBBM and myself had a lovely day down in Brighton and Hove, done a 4 mile walk this afternoon, which, ofcourse by the sea, you just have to have a chippy.Jolly nice it was too. And a beer when I arrived home!!

I used to get this quite frequently until a dentist said it could be caused by grinding the teeth. I've now become more aware that I might be doing this and as a result haven't had neuralgia since. In my case, it was like an electric shock from the centre of the head down a nerve going to my teeth via my ear and nearly always on the right side.

I thought I'd got away with no pesky ants this year, but not. One running round the long unit in
a sunny position - quickly despatched. He was the 'seeker' ant, he would fetch his friends if he found even a crumb. I HATE ants
