Yes, an excellent tale about Thor.

OT, sunny here today, but windy and at 10°C not particularly warm. I'm sure I heard something about snow in the Scottish mountains tomorrow.

Only a Scotsman could write that in the month of May!

Well I can report that at the moment it's blowing a hooley down here, strong NNE wind, rain and a miserable 7.3°

Nice thunderstorm heading towards Bexley right now, complete with wall cloud!

We're on the edge of it here, so only a shower to come for us. Lovely distant anvil-topped clouds as I rushed back from Brixton just now.

There was a substantial hailstorm in NW10 around 15:00 hrs, sky a deep purple-gey and it was very cold.

Now in NW2 we have bright sunshine, a blue sky and a cold wind.

You'd never guess we were girding up our meterological loins for a Bank Holiday weekend, would you?!

23 miles up the road, it's been overcast with a single five-minute heavy downpour just after noon, and a few guest appearances by the sun all day.

About half-an-hour after posting this, we had a quarter-hour downpour with hailstone! Me and my big keyboard!

                              Closer to Brighouse, though, Bbm.

By the way, and very off-topic, have you seen page 87 of the current BBC Music Magazine, Bbm? There's an advert for this:

... that I find quite intriguing.

EDIT: Cheaper, and with sound samples and more information here:
