      Lovely weather here (although not quite as good as yesterday), & yes, it tempted me out into the garden to do some tidying - good to see new growth, even if it is about a month late.

        I'm only a dozen or so miles from London but it's always one or two degrees colder and that horrible wind has never eased. I tried to sit outin the garden yesterday, lovely sun but too bl.... windy.

        Today, a white ground frost, just clearing in the sunny spots. Brrrrrr.

            It certainly looks like a lovely sunny day in London - I watched the start and end of the Marathon (wonder if Cali or S_A cycled to see the finish?) Not at all nice here, -1.0 overnight and thick frost, briefly blue then cloud and it's a miserable 9c which feels like 7c and rain forecast within the next couple of hours.
            I make no apologies for watching Dr. Who - it's just an enjoyable Saturday night nonsense - and actors such as Dougray Scott are queueing up to appear in it. (It looks good on their CV when they apply for auditions at the RSC!)

                  Best news in ages, 8tho. Not that we get many in London, mostly swifts & martins but their arrival always cheers me up

                  Whereabouts are you, 8tho?

                              Anna! I think somebody wants his tummy tickled.....

                              "...the isle is full of noises,
                              Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
                              Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
                              Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

                                I shall be off, to watch The Village. (Because I said I would) Although I don't really want to;
                                Blokes and their dogs are a bit weird, really, because, surely that woof. woof ,must drive you daft, could you not swap it for a female nagger?
                                Oh Ratz! The pair of you, well, I will not say. You are both as bad as each other.
