Anyway shall trot to the surgery again on Monday but we don't have a regular doc, just some good, some not so good, nurses.
PM should be in your box, saly.

Back on topic - I think I heard that snow and sleet were expected in the SE, as well as Scotland.

And it's the Equinox this coming week, surely.?

Yes, and yes, on Wednesday. Nothing falling here yet, however.

Happy St. Patrick's Day to any Irish amongst us! <guinness emoticon>
Thick mist overnight and just above freezing, mist cleared slowly to sunny spells and around 8°
I woke up in the night and thought at first I had dreamt it was 30-3 so I hummed a bit of Hymns and Arias and drifted off again ..... Still a bit shellshocked actually and emotionally wrung-out
Saly, sorry you're not yet better - have you tried the whisky and scorching hot curry cure? Seriously, hope you get one of the good nurses tomorrow.

Thanks Anna. Happy St Patrick's day to the Iriah here, especially SHB.

I only went public over my health hoping someone would say 'Oh, I've had that for ages, too',if you see what I mean

Believe me, curry and whisky would not do with this lumpy throat thing at the moment.

Thanks for that, ams... Well, hmmm, it seems likely to be much the same sort of weather as now until the end of the week, when they all, Simon included, predict a switch, first (on the 29th) to a more southerly type, then a south-westerly, bringing temperatures up to what they should be for the third third of March, i.e. 11 C., with mainly dry conditions apart from west Wales, Cornwall, Devon, and the western isles.

Just asthma here now but increased inhaler use.
Snow during the night which had disappeared by this morning.
                          Dry and quite sunny today.

Don't say 'just' asthma Rob, that must be horrible. We would all be better with a bit of sun and dry weather, but it looks as though we must wait for a bit longer.

It's looked like November here today, pouring rain all day and darkness, not very cold though.

saly, I hope all goes well at the surgery tomorrow and that, as Anna said, you get one of the good nurses. Sending all good wishes across the Atlantic.
