Frosty nights though, with ice on the bird baths.
Even so, both have their advantages: sunshine means golf; frost means a great run on the ball;

Still unbelievably cold, just 2.5 C at noon - checking my diaries, surprised to discover that the low temperatures of last 2 weeks have equalled those of the infamous 1963 winter.

Lovely sunny day today but very coid wind.
Had a rather a large glass of whisky last night. Seems to have done the trick!

Dreary day here. Cool, rainy, and windy. A good day for saly's whiskey and porridge. I've already had the porridge for breakfast so I'll save the whiskey for this evening. Hot soup and cups of tea will tke the edge off the cold and damp. It's actually a good day to catch up on paperwork (instead of fooling around on the computer.)Comment
