Ferney... My #1707 reply to BBM had that exact same phrase in it.... then I edited it out... largely because it was linked with indelicate speculation on my part as to Mrs BBM's strict régime at Brass Band Towers!!
Spookier and spookier!

Must be a trifle inclement on your cyber hill these days, 8th?
Cracking day here sunny + blue sky (may explain latter part of message) for most of it.....I've got one those cricky neck and shoulder pains (out of the blue) and i am locked in an odd posture, trying not to cough....
Meanwhile I am accumulating lots of tttttttttttttttttttttttttt's and iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii's which appear to being crossed and dotted on the 'Some Good News' thread.........<gaafaw>
Hi folks! back! Good sectional this evening. Kids behaved themselves :) Now just finished my pint of Shepherd Neame Mater Brew, Couldnt see any Spitfire!!

Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."
was it just me or does any one else recall the warnings about snow covering the UK yesterday .... which by Tuesday had ceased to be ... it was cold and windy as they forecast the day before but not as they forecast several days before [on the BBC at any rate] very cold and only a greyish blue in the middle kingdom [East Midlands Anna not far from the Richard III burial]
i do hope S_A is OK!!
According to the best estimates of astronomers there are at least one hundred billion galaxies in the observable universe.
the local forecast's been all over the place, is unreliable... minus serial apologist's over view on here, i don't know what ventures to plan with a canine friend.
where do 'they' work out weather warnings... on an inflatable in ibiza?
( hope you're feeling much better btw calum da jazbo.... speaking of inflatables).
They are predicting snow will fall on Sunday night through until Monday but there is uncertainty about exactly where, and what depth but it could be significant. According to S_A's friend Brummie Simon - his first impressions are that it will affect Scotland, the Pennines, the Midlands and N. Wales, elsewhere it could just fall as rain or sleet but it seems we are in for a cold, wet (where it doesn't snow), few days from midnight Sunday onwards.
Luckily the wind has disappeared but thick cloud all day have not improved temperature and it's felt very raw, just started to drizzle here. However, after such a run of sunny days it seems wrong to complain ...

My delayed drive to Nottingham (postponed due to the snow the other week) is due to take place on Monday!!
We watch and wait....

We have that round yellow thing up in the sky, which looks rather nice!!
So did we all day....
Then when it came to cycle home: 5 minutes out, and it started to rain
All wet I got!!
That wasn't supposed to happen!!
