There's certainly a very chill wind here. I saw visitors out a little earlier and an Arctic wind was blowing from the north,colder than it's been for ages. I didn't wait to see them drive off as my back pain immediately got worse.

After frost, beautiful sunny day, no wind. Temp peaked at 5.8° now dipped to 0.5!!!
Barometer installed in hall, it's very pretty! It's showing same at local weather station now, 1010 and dropping. So, it seems to work! Hurrah!

Barometer installed in hall, it's very pretty! It's showing same at local weather station now, 1010 and dropping. So, it seems to work! Hurrah!

Has anyone else noticed that whenever Nina Ridge comes on to present the TV weather, it always foretells bad weather. I think it's high time the BBC took on a Mr Trough to balance things out!
