Cheers salymap - that's good news. As is the fact that you're posting in fine form today - does this mean that you new mouse is working well?

Hurrah! I spent more than a few hours yesterday trying to remember what variety Mahlerei's buns were!! (I know there are some photos of them somewhere on the MB) Please pass on my best wishes to him as well when you next write to him and fingers crossed his op is successful xx
Saly, I too have to sort my recycling out for collection tomorrow .... but remember we are saving the planet! Sun finally broke through around 11.30 and it's *13° now but my feet were very cold, so I've belatedly donned some socks!
        *thanks vints!

(btw, my query: was it 1 or 2 tbsps of harissa?)

Not a bit of it ams. I'm using the touch pad until Jen brings me a mouse mat next weekend and I have a lesson from her. It's a wireless mouse and I can't make it do anything ATM

That proves it: I held my Alt down, typed in 01, but as soon as I got to 7 I got the message "Do you want to move to stay on this page or move to another?" - which is what I refer to as my "umlaut problem"!

                10

... no, still nothing doing, even when I release the "alt" key before typing in the numbers.

forgive a stupid question, are you on a laptop computer ?

[alt+ doesn't work on my laptop, I understand you need a separate number pad]

o, not my fantasy, not at all.... Barefoot, socks, shoes, whatever - all equally lovely ; pregnant - too old for that; kitchen stove - well, i rather like the both of us doin' our stuff in the kitchen ; church - well, it took quite some time, but I think I have prised Mme V (despite her family and ancestral connections) away from the clutches of mother church...

You should have the ability to do this on a lap top.

First you need to number-lock (on my lap top, that's the FN key and then F11); then use the 'number' keys "shared" on your qwerty keyboard (usually m j k l u i o 7 8 9 ). Look and see if there are numerals written on those m j k l u i o keys...

                      ... then try!
