Morning Cali, Well, I can't compete with you and Anna when you get going with your 'doubles' and anyway have awful computer problems.
I uzed to keep rabbits and am not sure if Mahlerei's buns are Flemish Giants, Dutch, or something else.
Very cold, yes. Have heating on day and night and s+d the cost.
MBs seem very slow at the moment, or is it just my opinion?
Bestio
Here on Malta (daughter 2's wedding) rabbit seems very much a constant on menus!
Mildly funny things spotted - you may recall the Rossini restaurant with portraits of Verdi! - a retail outlet called Gove's Plaice - best fish and chips on the island. Also permanently parked at the entrance to our Hotel is a Porsche 4X4 tinted glass the works with personalised number plates - FF - honestly guv!

There was a sad end to my keeping rabbits. A large lop eared rabbit, called inevitably 'Loppy' by me, had to be put down because of old age I think. Eric, a young neighbour took Loppy away and did the deed.
It was wartime, food was short, and to my horror I saw my beloved pet hanging in the local butcher's window.
It put me off Eric, keeping rabbits and men. I was about 14 and had a lot to learn
Oh poor you salymap but yes those days must have been hard. I am, learning to find out about how life was like back then, ie BBCs 'Wartime Farm' etc, but yoiu have to have lived it to knwo really?
A cold summers day here.
Donโt cry for me

"...the isle is full of noises,
Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Nice convenient place for her to marry....
Still, decent excuse for a spot of hol (not to mention a spot of rabbit, apparently). Congrats and hope it all goes off very well

The first proper frosts this morning: the car was coated until just before 10 o'clock. Sunshine, now, but the temperature's struggling to reach the forecast 10 degrees.
(By the way, Cali: how do you get the degree symbol from your keyboard?)

alt-0 (zero) simultaneously... (it's a Mac, not sure if that makes a difference)...

... err; no, that's not working for me (and I don't have a Mac!).
I think something may be amiss with my Alt key: it's stopped letting me do umlautts over "U"s, too - takes me to another page and loses what I've already typed!

No.
