Totally wonderful morning here in NW2, three white butterflies have just floated past, sparrer squadron in full squabble and squawk - another 8 weeks like this please pretty please & then we can go into Autumn

Took a while but the sun's out now, but autumn is just around the corner for us - the air has that slight nip to it in the morning, & the nights are distinctly chilly when the sky has been clear during the day.

If there's anything to look forward to after the Olympics , it is that signs are emerging for a nice big high pressure system to settle over the UK next week, after a shaky start, meaning it should get warm, and not too warm.
