Between us we seem to have killed 'Stormy Weather' dead- S-A - except that it's very stormy today, thought we were to have one of those funnel things, as in the Wizard of Oz. A twister!

I think saly it's been quiet because the weather has gone quiet!! We had 15.7 yesterday, today is drizzle on and off, forecast for tomorrow is atrocious with Met Office again issuing Yellow Alert, our local news says expect half a month's rainfall in 36 hours starting tonight ........ plus gales ....... and it's for the whole of the West Country, S. Wales and Southern England, so don't put your wellies away yet! I would like our resident meteo guru to predict when we get some nice settled weather, like we did in March .......

On Saturday, Anna - for 3 whole days! - - but not as warm as 'twas in March.
I just saw the Prince of Wales presenting your weather forecast, flossie! (A new low!)
Where was that - up in Scotland? It's horribly muggy here, 16.2 and completely airless, on and off drizzle, it's been nowhere as bad as they promised although it teemed down through the night. Everyone is getting rather depressed but I also noticed new leaf shoots on the beech hedges.
