There was thunder around so left the Ferrier BBC4 programme for iplayer today. Just my luck,it's 'Not Available'. Copyright I suppose, but surely it is BBC property? Ah well, one of those things.

After a Barbican concert recently we retired as is our custom to the nearby Artillery Arms for a pint of ambrosia (aka Fullers ESB). A lone man entered the pub at about 10.45, bought half a pint and sat down at the next table. He retrieved a copy of the Camra Guide rucksack and inserted a tick against the pub.
