only six (easily cycleable, but not today!) miles from the West End.

I cycled my five miles in this morning (and yesterday)! Was able to decide on the time and managed to choose half and hour with no rain

Socks got wet from spray coming up from sodden road tho...

Got slightly damp on the way home yesterday (tho it stopped raining after 5 mins and the wind dried almost everything by the time I reached home - let's see what happens in the Rain Roulette game this evening

Glorious morning in the m'trollopes today, blissful cycle ride in through falling blossom, wind and sun had dried all but the deepest puddles

I've just checked our local N Wilts weather station records (that's the kind of guy I am):
April 1 - 20 2011, rainfall = 2.3mm
April 1 - 20 2012, rainfall = 69.6mm
