Socks got wet from spray coming up from sodden road tho...

Got slightly damp on the way home yesterday (tho it stopped raining after 5 mins and the wind dried almost everything by the time I reached home - let's see what happens in the Rain Roulette game this evening

very wet in the middle kingdom and the washing was soaking early this morning and still is ... that'll teach me eh ..... be too wet to bring indoors for days with rain like this, have to put through a rinse cycle and crease it all up again ..

To judge by the weather charts for the next 5 days, there's plenty more of the wet stuff still to come down here.

The rain is so fitful and sudden when it does come. Walked down the garden - dry - as I headed back to kitchen the skies opened. Garden's not that large, either.

Got some birthday cake left to finish with a warming cup of char??

The rain is sticking around, too... Managed to dodge showers on the bike in to and back from work the last two days - not today, though. Drenched!!!

Great though for practising sprints in time for the Holympics, though!

Hang on - that means it had all gone by 11am on your very birthday?! S'not fair!

Glorious morning in the m'trollopes today, blissful cycle ride in through falling blossom, wind and sun had dried all but the deepest puddles

Now though, a black sky and diagonal sheets of rain (UPDATE: big clap of thunder.... )

Hope it clears up for a gentle pedal westwards towards the weekend later

Yes S_A... it seems the weather pattern will be virtually unchanged through to Monday - what of Tuesday onwards, o meteorological Cassandra?

I've just checked our local N Wilts weather station records (that's the kind of guy I am):
                                April 1 - 20 2011, rainfall = 2.3mm
                                April 1 - 20 2012, rainfall = 69.6mm
