It has warmed up a teeny-weeny bit today here - 3 degrees Celsius as against the 2 degrees max yesterday. We just have to get through the strong winds that are forecast everywhere for tomorrow before winds turn more to the south-east, and the temperatures rise to more what we'd be expecting in mid-March. I simply do not believe it: I have just been watching the BBC forecast stating with some certainty that it will be a dry night with maybe some clearances and even some frost.
On MY windows in the NW of England at the very moment this forecast is being glibly delivered, the rain sounds like rice being thrown at the glass.
